Personal data and removal requests
The source register includes names of directors, partners and transport managers, and sole-trader or partnership licences are held in personal names. We apply additional protections even where the information is already public.
Director and transport manager names are never stored
The weekly import discards the director, partner and transport manager name columns before any row reaches our database. Only whether a transport manager is recorded is kept.
Not used for discovery
Where a licence is held in a person’s name (sole traders and partnerships), that name is excluded from name search, page titles, descriptions, structured data, feeds and downloadable exports. It can only be reached through the licence number or a location listing.
Limited display
Where a personal name is necessary to reproduce the licence record, it is marked so that search engines do not show it in result snippets.
Source-led updates
A source correction or deletion is reflected during the next weekly import. We do not alter the underlying licensing record or suggest that a removal changes its official status.
Removal process
A person can request suppression from this directory using the form below. Requests are assessed promptly, with identity evidence requested only when necessary and retained for the shortest practical period.
